Over 500 local residents gathered in downtown Davie to officially launch the "Switching Lains" campaign. Lains laid out key platform issues focusing on sustainable development, local school funding, and transit upgrades.
"This isn't about politics," Lains said to the crowd. "This is about our streets, our schools, and our neighbors. Davie is moving forward — and I want to help lead the way."
The launch saw an unprecedented number of first-time campaign volunteers sign up on the spot.
